Each box made by Royal Woods is unique unto itself. The reason is because each piece has been painstakingly shaped and cut by hand from select domestic root burl which is aged for as long as 5 years. No patterns or plans are ever used on the creation of each box. The artists believe that each piece of wood will guide them to what will be created, which makes each piece incredibly remarkable
