Expert Custom Picture Framing

​Thornebrook Gallery recently completed Custom Picture Framing of the artwork for the expansion of Haven Hospice and we are very proud of the work that we did. Haven came to us with some simple guidelines; they wanted work that looked like it belonged in this amazing part of the world where we live, Gainesville, Florida, the pieces needed to be engaging and uplifting and everything had to be at as high a level of quality as the architecture and the interiors that they had created with their massive addition.

We were able to find one hundred and ten images to use in the patient rooms, hallways, common areas and offices. We matted the work in tones complimentary to the artwork and the colors of the areas where the pieces would hang, glazed them with Plexiglas for safety and framed them with a beautifully finished wood moulding in the same tone as the furnishings for a cohesive look. All of the work was hung with security hangers which immovably affix the pieces to the wall as well as preventing them from ever being crooked.

The job was completed on time and on budget with all of the quality and attention to detail that we bring to every job but I must say that Haven Hospice holds a very special place in my heart. Both of my parents ended their days there and the care, humanity and grace that they were treated with helped us deal with that very difficult time so they might have gotten just a little extra from us on this job.
